Job Description
Position Summary:
The Rear/Side Load Driver, under direction of the Rear Load Supervisor, distributes, collects, and empties company issued commercial waste receptacles for Sanitation customers.
Essential Functions:
Performs and documents pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company issued vehicles
Empties commercial waste receptacles as indicated on daily route sheet
Opens and closes door on receptacles placed inside an enclosure
Actively communicates any and all changes to daily route sheet to the dispatch team
Notifies supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur while completing activities on route
Reviews and completes daily work orders
Ensures accurate completion of route sheet and VCR by the end of each day
