Radiotherapy Physicist

Position

Two HCPC-Registered Clinical Scientists are required for the Radiotherapy Physics department at Weston Park Cancer Centre, Sheffield.

Role Overview

The new post-holders will have the opportunity to get involved with most aspects of the department’s work.

Department Context

We provide radiotherapy to around 4,500 patients annually on eight linacs, with two Varian Halcyon and two Truebeam linacs. The department also hosts CT and MR simulation and the dosimetrists provide treatment plans with Eclipse. An in-house engineering section maintains all radiotherapy equipment.
