Job Description

The Radiology coordinator plays a key administrative and operational support role, ensuring smooth workflow, effective communication and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day coordination of diagnostic imaging service across all modalities, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
• Manage appointment scheduling for various imaging modalities (NM, IR, Breast Imaging, MSK).
• Manage radiology scheduling workflows to maximize equipment utilization and reduce patient wait times.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients, referring physicians, nursing staff and front‑desk teams to streamline communications.
• Monitor and verify insurance approvals and pre‑authorization in line with compliance standards.
• Ensure patients receive preparation instructions and confirmation calls for their appointments.
