Job Overview
The Quantity Surveyor supports cost management and financial control of projects, including cost estimates, feasibility support, project cost analysis, contract documentation, and timely cost‑related reporting to clients, contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate cost estimates at concept, design, tender, and construction stages.
- Assist in developing budgets and assessing financial viability.
- Assist in tendering, BOQ preparation, pricing documents, and tender evaluation.
- Support contract administration and compliance with contract terms.
- Assist in handling variations, claims, disputes, and contractor progress claims.
- Monitor costs, prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account settlements.
- Identify cost‑saving and value engineering opportunities.
- Analyse financial and contractual risks and support mitigation strategies.
