Quality Management System Engineer

Micron’s Quality Management System (QMS) is the structured set of interrelated processes we use to implement quality policy and achieve quality objectives across people, processes, and technology. The QMS Engineer ensures this system is effective, compliant with key standards (e.g., ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 where applicable), and continuously improving—so that quality remains a strategic differentiator and Micron remains our customers’ first choice.

• Own and improve respective Micron’s QMS processes and drive end-to-end process clarity, interactions, and documentation.
• Ensure and improve compliance (e.g., ISO 9001; IATF 16949 for automotive lines), coordinate with sites and auditors, and close findings to standard.
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders to collect required inputs and ensure alignment.
• Ensure the QMS process changes are cascaded to the site team.
