QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING)

Summary You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING) in the Mid-Atlantic Calibration Center (MARCC), Code 137, Quality Assurance Office of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will perform assigned assessments by identifying problems, issuing reports and follow on corrective action and closeout. You will lead preparation and corrective actions for required certifications such as JNACT audits and A2LA accreditation audits. You will assist in the development of self-assessments for MARCC management and personnel. You will execute the Code 137 internal Collateral Duty Inspector training program. You will develop Training plan, Presentations and Follow-ups as required. You will establish required qualifications for personnel to perform specific quality functions within Code 137.
