Qualified Social Worker Level 2 and 3 - SAFeR Team

Starting salary for this role is £44,075 or £48,226 (pro rata for part‑time colleagues).

This role is located in a hybrid setting with the Civic Centre Bournemouth, BH2 6DY, and is a full‑time permanent position (37 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Work as a social worker within the Safeguarding Adults First Response Hub (SaFeR) under the Safeguarding Adults Statutory Service (SASS).
• Screen, triage and make decisions regarding concerns and decisions received via the Adult Social Care Hub.
• Identify S42 enquiries under the Care Act and signpost to other agencies or teams within BCP Council.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of social workers, social care practitioners and other professionals to deliver high‑quality, strengths‑based interventions to people and families.
