About the Role
We are looking for a backend QA Automation Engineer with strong Python skills and over 5 years of testing experience and 3+ years of Python experience. Knowledge in fintech is very important. Experience in trading or working with exchanges is a big plus.
Job Description
- Analyze requirements carefully and thoughtfully — good analytical skills are essential
- Create test scenarios for both functional and non-functional testing
- Work with a model-based testing approach, meaning you need a strong understanding of model design and trading specifics
- Test components of the exchange core and the overall system
- Write automated tests for API and backend in Python (minimal manual testing)
- Maintain and develop the Python automation framework
- Review automation code from your teammates
- Keep testing documentation up to date and assist with project documentation
