Job Description
Python Engineer
Location: Montreal, Quebec / Halifax NS (Hybrid – 4 days/week)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline business processes.
- Build and optimize automation frameworks for web, API, data, and system workflows.
- Integrate automation solutions with databases, third‑party tools, and cloud services.
- Identify manual, repetitive tasks and propose efficient automation solutions.
- Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented Python code following best practices.
- Debug, test, and enhance automation scripts for performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Python Automation Engineer.
- Strong SQL or other database query language scripting skills.
- Unix/Linux scripting knowledge.
- Exposure to Helios or OCP platforms.
