Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities :
· Receives requisitions from vessels and floats to different vendors
· To source and purchase materials according to materials specifications in compliance with the company's current policies and Company Safety Management system.
· Price comparison & negotiation
· Issue Purchase Orders after approval from technical superintendent or marine superintendent and follow up with forwarders/agents until the orders are placed onboard
· Verify delivery orders against invoices before handover to accounts for processing for payment.
· Accurately maintain a commitment list for the respective vessels under his/her management.
· Report any idea and improvement to the superintendents of his/her assigned vessels and to the Managers.
