Specialist Training Position for Public Health Registrar
An exciting opportunity is available for a medically-trained public health medicine registrar, enrolled with the Australian Faculty of Public Health Medicine, to gain skills in Aboriginal health, rural and remote health, and epidemiology. This unique 12 month position will be hosted by Maari Ma Health Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal community controlled health service based in Broken Hill. Maari Ma services far western NSW.
This position will be based in Sydney with regular trips to Broken Hill for fieldwork – this arrangement will be negotiated with the individual and is flexible. The opportunity for an extended period in Broken Hill is encouraged and financially supported by the organisation.
