Job Description
The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council seeks a dedicated Environmental Public Health Officer at the All Nations Healing Hospital in Fort QuAppelle. This position emphasizes community health and safety.
As a key member of the health services team, you will work under the Director of Health and Safety. Your tasks will involve enforcing environmental health measures, identifying hazards, and advising the Chief and Council. This position provides a unique opportunity to merge public health knowledge with community service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement public health safety measures for communities
• Identify hazards affecting community health
• Recommend actions to Chief and Council
• Work collaboratively in a health-focused team
• Assist in delivering health services to First Nations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in health sciences or related field
• Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada)
