Summary About the Position: This position is in the DoDEA HQ - Office of Chief of Staff Communications Division Communications Operations Branch in Peachtree, GA. This position is not covered by a bargaining unit. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). Responsibilities Oversee the content and management of schools’ public website. Develop new content in support of agency campaigns and projects, and school communications needs. Create, make changes to, and publish social media content. Use software programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to create and produce quality graphics. Provide written stories and support to cover school events and stories. Act as a school ambassador and representative, conveying a positive image of the school and its achievements.
