About the Opportunity
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for maintaining payroll records, processing employee pay and deductions, responding to payroll inquiries, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and internal controls.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, including regular pay, overtime, vacation pay, bonuses, and other adjustments as applicable.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, rate changes, direct deposit details, and statutory forms.
- Review time and attendance information to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to payroll processing.
- Calculate and verify statutory deductions and other payroll‑related deductions, including taxes, benefits, pensions, and garnishments where applicable.
