Description

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Behavioral Health Professional to join the Aftercare Research Program. The Aftercare Research Program is an outpatient research clinic that provides assessment and treatment and conducts research with people who have recently experienced an initial psychotic episode. Primary duties include:

+ Providing cognitive behavioral, supportive, individual, and group interventions
+ Planning, developing, and implementing treatment and psychoeducational groups for patients and family members
+ Scheduling and monitoring patient appointments for research and clinical activities
+ Administer clinical research measures of patient symptomatology and functioning
+ Assisting in clinically supervising psychology interns and practicum students through clinical group supervision
+ Assisting patients with job/school application processes
