Position Summary
CHEO, The Royal, Youth Services Bureau and Le CAP are partnering to develop a community-based live‑in treatment unit to address the needs of youth and their families who are experiencing complex and persistent mental health and psychosocial issues. The Step Up Step Down Program will offer interdisciplinary live‑in care in a community setting with the goal of averting hospital admissions, facilitating shorter hospital inpatient stays, or preventing placement breakdown. The program aims to fill the existing gap in recovery‑focused live‑in treatment services for youth aged 12‑17 years. The Psychologist will be part of the interdisciplinary and interagency team.
