Job Overview
Within a multidisciplinary team, provide professional psychological services, comprehensive cognitive/developmental assessment, and support physicians in diagnosing children and youth with disabilities such as FASD, autism, or other complex developmental problems.
Responsibilities
Provide professional psychological services and comprehensive cognitive/developmental assessment to a wide range of clientele with disabilities, including individuals suspected of having FASD, autism, or other complex developmental problems. Provide assessment and diagnosis (or support physicians in making diagnoses where applicable) for children and youth.
Education
- Doctorate in Psychology.
- A minimum of one year clinical experience in a child/adolescent mental health service setting or in an adult mental health setting.
- Experience with forensic, developmental and neuro-cognitive psychology.
