Job Description
The successful candidate
will have extensive knowledge of current, effective assessment methods, as well as best practice in academic intervention. The position is required to collaboratively consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies regarding the nature of a student’s strengths and needs, their educational implications and ways to enhance learning and interpersonal skills. This role also requires the ability to assist with pre-referral interventions for the student intervention plans, suggesting support activities to ensure the inclusion of diverse learners, provide assistance in the process of identification of students in special education categories, provide guidance to Learning Support Teachers regarding the use of Level B assessment tools, and provide in-service training as required.Qualifications:•Master’s degree in school psychology or equivalent•Licensed school psychologist registered with the BC College of Psychologists•Possess a valid drive...Ready to Apply?
