Homewood Health in Guelph, Ontario, seeks a skilled Psychiatrist to support mental health and addiction programs. This locum role spans 4 days a week and focuses on advanced psychiatric care.
This opportunity involves working within structured treatment programs designed for mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. You will assess and diagnose patients, provide medication management, and collaborate in an interdisciplinary team environment. Assist patients in navigating their treatment through evidence-based practices and ensure holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage assigned IMAAC patients
• Coordinate with team members for patient-centered care
• Provide thorough documentation of all patient interactions
• Facilitate referrals for additional psychiatric services
