Protection & Control Technician Manager

The Protection & Control Technical Manager for Electrical Utilities is responsible for managing a highly skilled protections & controls and SCADA commissioning team. As the technical expert in the team, he/she will oversee the entire commissioning process of power system protection & control schemes and SCADA systems within the utilities division. The role entails managing the team, reviewing requirements for every project, delegating tasks, be involved with all aspects of the testing and commissioning process and ensuring compliance with all safety standards.


The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Electrician Journeyman Ticket, or an Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma from a recognized institute, and 5+ years experience leading a commissioning team in the electrical utilities industry.
