Propagation Supervisor

The Propagation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the propagation, growth, and general health of spekboom plants at the nursery. This role involves managing day‑to‑day operations, coordinating staff, implementing best horticultural practices, ensuring high survival rates, and maintaining sustainable, cost‑effective production systems.

Key Job Requirements And Expectations

• Oversee and participate in the cutting, rooting, and transplanting of spekboom.
• Monitor plant health and apply appropriate pest and disease control measures.
• Maintain optimal irrigation and nutrient regimes for different growth stages.

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and manage propagation and production schedules to meet planting targets.
• Track stock levels, plan for replanting, and manage delivery timelines.

Staff Supervision & Training

• Lead, train, and supervise nursery staff and seasonal workers.
