Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a project manager for a fixed-term contract with the City of Viitasaari to implement the Viitasaari WorKS! project from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2028. The goal of the project is to develop a sustainable model that enhances youth skills recognition, work readiness, and employment in close cooperation with companies, educational institutions, and other networks.
Responsibilities
- Operational management and coordination of the project
- Guidance, engagement, and skills recognition for youth
- Building and coordinating corporate cooperation
- Planning and implementing workshops and development experiments
- Maintaining digital communities (e.g., Discord)
- Monitoring project finances, schedules, and objectives
- Communication and reporting to funders
- Developing and embedding the operational model into the city’s activities
