Project Overview

The goal of the Quality and Growth from Locality to Tourism project is to strengthen sustainable growth in Lapland tourism by connecting local small entrepreneurs, craft sector operators, and creative industries more closely to the tourism value chain. The primary target group includes unemployed job seekers, career changers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and small existing businesses from tourism and nearby sectors. The project will develop a clear competence pathway, allowing participants to choose study modules related to tourism service chains, craft-based service expertise, and service productization and subcontracting collaboration according to their needs. Additionally, regional B2B events will be organized, where small service providers, tourism companies, municipalities, and development companies will meet.
