Job Description
Project Development Lead – Vice‑President (Research & International) Full‑time, permanent. Expected start date July 27, 2026. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Reporting to the Director, Major Projects Office (MPO) within the portfolio of the Vice‑President (Research & International) (VPRI). The Project Development Lead is responsible for ideation, facilitation, and preparation of major project proposals, the largest and most complex funding proposals undertaken by the institution (e.g., Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Canada Research Chairs, Canada Excellence Research Chairs, CFREF, NFRF, Transformation and international, Horizon Europe). The role collaborates with diverse teams of faculty, other academic institutions, and external partners to prepare multi‑, inter‑, and trans‑disciplinary funding proposals that foster strategic partnerships and have a large institutional and global impact.
