Job Description

Overview

The Project Cost Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely job cost reporting across all projects, reviewing budgets and risks, enforcing workflows and controls, coordinating with project and accounting teams on financial processes, and driving continuous improvement in project accounting systems and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of Job Cost information across all projects, including budgets and actuals.
  • Review all project budgets weekly at a division and/or sub-contract level to assess quantities, pricing, rates, schedules, and other key inputs/assumptions, identify key risk areas, and recommend mitigants.
  • Generate, review, analyze, and present action plans based upon weekly and monthly Job Cost reports and other project monitoring information as required.
