Job Responsibilities
·Child Arrival and Dismissal Support
oAssist centre staff in receiving children during arrival and sending them off during dismissal periods.
oWork under the supervision of trained staff at all times during these routines.
oEnsure smooth and safe transitions for children without engaging in direct communication with parents.
·Routine Care Duties
oSupport teachers in carrying out daily care routines i.e. feeding and supervising meal times. assisting with diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene.
oHelping with bathing or washing when needed.
oCreating a calm and safe environment during children’s nap or rest times.
oMaintain awareness of children’s safety and well-being throughout all activities.
·Learning Environment Preparation and Maintenance
oAssist in preparing and setting up materials for learning activities.
