Under the direction of the Program Manager/Program Coordinator, plans or participates in the planning of appropriate activities and provides high quality services to clients of the Day Program.

Responsibilities

• Implements and ensures smooth operation of activities in a safe, hygienic and supportive environment.
• Provides high quality personal care to assist clients in their daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Provides meal services or assists in meal preparation and assists the clients in eating in accordance with the client's wish and ability.
• Assists the client in participating in social activities and encourages social interaction.
• Assists the team to prepare program materials.
• Responds promptly to medical emergencies and takes appropriate action.
• Assists the clients in the proper use and care of adaptive devices.
