Professional Math Tutor

• OPAP Part-time – under 17.5 hours per week Application Deadline: Open Until Filled Priority Screening: July 2, 2026 at 4PM EST   Position Summary: The Professional Math Tutor is assigned to one of two busy walk-in tutoring centers on the SUNY Ulster main campus and at the Kingston Center of SUNY Ulster.


• The tutors will be prepared to assist students in the math centers as well as via remote video conference.
• They are charged with assisting and providing guidance to a diverse student body in a variety of math skills and areas.

We are seeking tutors with experience helping developmental math students with topics in arithmetic, basic algebra and quantitative reasoning, and we are seeking tutors who are able to assist students with topics through statistics and calculus.   Duties and Responsibilities:
