Overview
The Molding Production Planner schedules and allocates production orders based on customer needs, improving operational efficiency.
This key role involves daily execution and tactical/strategic activities, balancing cost reduction with customer service in a global environment.
Core Responsibilities
Convert planned orders into production orders, managing inventory coverage while minimizing changeovers.
Ensure the production plan is posted and maintained in the ERP/MRP system.
Monitor changes in material requirements and production orders and act accordingly.
Ensure efficient utilization of job centers (machines & molds) according to MRP versus demand, following tactical and MPS processes.
Analyze future production situations timely and adjust plans to maintain alignment.
