Production Operator

Responsibilities

• As an operator, you inspect and sort empty cylinders for filling and move cylinders to their respective storage locations
• You operate the forklift to facilitate operation, load and offload pallets and vehicles
• You conduct and record forklift daily checks on the appropriate checklist
• Participate in safety initiatives and ensure compliance to company legal requirements
• Ensure good housekeeping in the yard, support production operations and contribute to achieving DIFOT targets
• Furthermore, you support the Inventory Team during stock counts

Qualifications

• You possess matric and/or N2 qualification, with at least 3-5 years relevant experience
• You have the ability to identify different cylinder gas types
• You a valid forklift operating license and valid cylinder handling certificate
