Production manager (meat butchery and deli)

Duties and responsibilities Responsible for all meat processing in high through put meat butchery and deli. Should manage block men under his care as well as processing and packaging of meat. Planning of meat orders and processing. Stock management and waste minimization.

Requirements Minimum 7 years' experience in the meat industry. Qualified and experience as a block man. Experience as a production manager for 5 or more years in a similar role. Computer literate with knowledge of recipes and block tests utilizing software. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is important as well. Own transport.
