Production assistant

Production Assistant position available in Clanwilliam.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Production Manager with the day-to-day management of table grape production. Support the planting and establishment of table grape vineyards. Monitor and manage irrigation scheduling. Assist with fertilizer application and crop nutrition programmes. Support pest and disease monitoring and control activities. Assist with pruning, harvesting, and other crop manipulation activities. Monitor crop performance and production processes to ensure quality standards are met. Assist with labour planning, scheduling, and workforce management. Maintain production and operational records. Coordinate transport and accommodation arrangements for workers when required. Assist with the maintenance of equipment, orchards, and general farm infrastructure.
