What this role actually is:
You sit at the intersection of data, product, and engineering. You find what's broken in the funnel, figure out why, design the fix, and work with engineers to ship it. Then you measure whether it worked. Repeat, across 10 things simultaneously.
You're not support staff. You own metrics. Retention, activation, conversion, monetization — these are your problems now.
What you'll do:
Dig into product data at scale — events, schemas, raw queries, not drag-and-drop tools
Own growth experiments end to end — hypothesis, design, execution, analysis
Work directly with engineering to ship changes, not just recommend them...
