Product Design Engineer

Product Design Engineer In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: • Generate innovative ideas, develop concepts, and design new products as well as improvements to existing products • Perform engineering calculations and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) stack-up analysis • Apply core engineering principles to solve design and development challenges • Provide CAD support using Solid Edge or SolidWorks for new product development and sustaining activities • Drive cost optimization and product quality improvement initiatives • Apply design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) principles in product development • Execute engineering change requests and engineering change notes efficiently and accurately • Support the development, testing, and evaluation of functional prototypes • Create and manage costed bills of materials (BOM) and use PLM tools such as Teamcenter • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project timelines and customer expectations • Communicate clearly w...
