Job Description
Overview
Looking for a Project Control Analyst to support P&L reporting, analysis and controls within the Equity Derivatives business. This role sits in Product Control and works closely with trading desks to understand and explain daily P&L.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily P&L reporting and reconciliation (actual vs. flash vs. predicted)
- Analyze and explain P&L drivers and variances
- Perform GL reconciliation and balance sheet substantiation
- Execute Independent Price Verification (IPV)
- Investigate breaks and ensure strong financial controls
- Partner with traders, risk and finance teams
Must Haves
- Experience in Product Control, Fund Accounting or Capital Markets Finance
- Strong knowledge of equity derivatives (options, futures, etc.)
- Understanding of full lifecycle accounting & P&L
