Job Description
We are looking for Procurement Officer to join our expanding team in Abu Dhabi!
As a Procurement Officer for ZMI, you'll be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating with them and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Your role will play a vital part in supporting ZMI's operations and growth by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase parts, equipment and materials by means of purchase order.
- Applies ZMI suppliers’ selection criteria as outlined in the SHEQMS Purchasing Procedures.
- Identify and recommend suppliers through investigation, researching parts, equipment and materials availability.
- Research and obtain quotations for high-cost items as per the agreed procedure; whilst maintaining price comparisons for consumables.
