Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective procurement and category management strategies aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.Define and execute both long-term and short-term sourcing strategies for the assigned category.Take overall accountability for sourcing activities, including identifying and developing new suppliers and supply options.Negotiate and manage long-term and spot supply agreements to secure optimal commercial terms.Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external customers.Ensure effective management and continuous development of business relationships with key suppliers across the African region.Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders, focusing on cost reduction, quality optimization, and risk management.
