Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue purchase orders based on purchase requisitions and ensure the timely follow-up with vendors for expected delivery dates (ETD)
- Sourcing and negotiate for the most competitive price in terms of quality, price, payment terms, deliveries and services with vendors
- Track and monitor the ETD of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery to meet target ETD requirements
- Handle order discrepancies, returns, and resolve any issues related to product quality or delivery
- Maintain accurate records in the system, including stock items, supplier pricing, and supplier details
- Ensure that all procurement data is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with company standards
- Prepare daily purchasing reports, providing accurate and timely data on orders, deliveries, and any discrepancies
