Procurement and Contracts Partner

About the role

The Procurement and Contracts Partner works closely with internal stakeholders to deliver strong strategic and operational procurement outcomes. The role leads sourcing and contract activities across all external spend, ensuring decisions support Council priorities and deliver value for money.

Working within Council’s procurement framework, policies and procedures, the role provides expert advice and oversight to ensure activities are compliant, consistent and commercially sound. Success in this role relies on strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key focus areas:

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand future plans, major projects and operational needs, and develop sourcing and contract strategies that manage risk and deliver commercial value.
