Job Description
- Ensuring production outputs are achieved. By ensuring reliable plant and equipment
- Carrying out maintenance activities.
- Ensuring maintenance and service of machinery and moulds by fully using planned maintenance allowance.
- Ensuring the filling out completion of production logs, mould cards and job cards.
- Attending to breakdowns.
- Contributing towards achieving raw material wastage below minimum level.
- Identification and achievement of measurable technical and process developments and improvements.
- Manage the running of engineering stores.
- Controlling spares usage and costs.
- Good housekeeping and keeping workshop & spares stores neat and tidy
- Receiving moulds and trim tooling from Mould Controller and returning same in good order after the production run
- Planning mould services in conjunction with the Mould Controller
