Process automation engineer (ai/ml)

Responsibilities Design and build automation solutions for bank reconciliation, payment processing, and exception management across multiple markets. Apply AI/ML techniques such as anomaly detection and classification models to improve automation accuracy and reduce manual intervention. Integrate automation tools with core banking systems via APIs. Analyse current‑state processes and re‑engineer workflows to enable scalable automation across a multi‑market environment. Build and maintain RPA bots and custom scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and matching logic. Monitor automated processes in production, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimise performance. Collaborate with Banking Operations and Product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
