Principal Sustainable Solutions Specialist

Position within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department, headquartered in Manila, Philippines. This role reports to the Director, Climate Change and is responsible for supporting ADB’s private sector development initiatives to accelerate climate resilience and low‑carbon outcomes.

Your Role

Lead efforts to mobilize private‑sector capital for climate projects, strengthen institutional capacity, and develop knowledge and innovation work to promote private sector enablement.

Responsibilities

• Lead ADB's efforts with PSD (RD), OMDP, PSOD, and Sector Departments to scale up private sector capital mobilization.
• Work with government officials, financial institutions, and development partners to conduct diagnostics, policy dialogue, and mobilize technical assistance resources.
