Principal Flood Modeller – UK (Hybrid)

Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Principal Flood Modeller in one of our UK offices – whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Technical Expert: Lead the estimation of flood flows using established methodologies in the Flood Estimations Handbook. Develop and check hydraulic models (using packages such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, HEC‑RAS and InfoWorks ICM) to assist the design of flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, river restoration projects or the Environment Agency’s flood maps.
• Deliver: Lead and input into tenders ranging from innovative one‑off projects to multimillion pound framework contracts. Produce and review high‑quality technical reports documenting model build and uncertainties in the model build process.
