Principal AI Architect/Engineer

Job Description

What is the role? As a Principal AI Architect/Engineer, you design and build AI-powered solutions to aid our AI Architecture practices, governance and AI initiatives across the bank. You will lead the development of AI standards and patterns to align with the rapidly evolving AI platforms. You will collaborate and provide architectural leadership to RBC's engineering teams to ensure solutions are well-designed, reusable across business lines and aligned to our AI technology strategy. You will partner with lines of business to understand their AI needs, identify opportunities and help architect working AI solutions that create real value. You will lead specific POCs for AI technology, managing the engagement with vendors and engineering partners.
