POSITION SUMMARY The Preschool Teacher Aide supports all aspects of the classroom environment, including the classroom, playground, and gym. This role assists with daily operations such as food preparation, cleaning, and laundry. The aide helps ensure that classroom structure and practices are developmentally appropriate to meet children's needs. This position may be subject to temporary layoffs for up to 10 weeks during the school year. Teacher Aide must interact with children respectfully and uphold the agency's core values of stewardship, compassion, integrity, and equity .
