Job Description

Job Advert

The lab investigates the molecular mechanisms that control biological timing (; ). The central aim of this exciting project is to investigate developmental rate in perturbed proliferation conditions.

In this project, the successful candidate will perform an in-depth analysis of the relevance of proliferation and interspecies co-culture in developmental timing. The Postdoctoral Research Scientist will play a central role in our programme of work studying how protein metabolism controls developmental timing. The post holder will employ quantitative dynamic proteomic approaches and will make use of pharmacological and genetic perturbations in embryonic stem cell models.

In addition to conducting the research outlined above, the post holder will help with training the lab’s graduate students and collaborate in other laboratory activities. They will benefit from the Institute’s world-leading expertise in Signalling and Epigenetics, from our excellent science facili...
