Postdoc in Circular Manufacturing Systems

Job description

We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow who wants to contribute to the transition towards the circular industry of the future through research into circular manufacturing systems and resource-efficient production solutions.

The research is conducted at the Department of Production Engineering at KTH and aims to support the manufacturing industry's transition from linear to circular value chains. The project is based on a life cycle perspective where products, components and materials retain their value through reuse, remanufacturing and reintegration into production.

The position mainly involves further developing the research from the iReGear project in close collaboration with TRATON Group R&D. The focus is on how remanufactured transmission components can be integrated into production systems for new heavy vehicles and how circularity can be scaled up in industrial applications.
