Portfolio Analyst / Assistant Portfolio Management – Long/Short Equity

Octavius Finance, a specialist recruiter within quantitative financial markets, is working with a London-based hedge fund seeking to hire a Portfolio Analyst to join its long/short equity investment team.

This is a highly visible role sitting within the investment team, working directly with the Portfolio Manager and senior stakeholders across portfolio implementation, account management, investor support and business-facing project work.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring portfolio decisions are implemented accurately and efficiently across pooled funds and managed accounts. Alongside portfolio implementation, the role will involve supporting performance analysis, investor materials, track record modelling, RFPs, DDQs and broader strategic initiatives linked to the continued growth of the investment platform.
