The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational standards, addressing and escalating issues where required, and ensuring staff are effectively deployed to provide a seamless service that supports both patient experience and clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and guide portering staff to deliver efficient and compliant services
Maintain a safe working environment in line with legislation and policies
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and escalate resource needs
Allocate staff effectively to maintain service flow and patient experience
Make daily operational decisions, escalating where necessary
Monitor service performance and implement improvements
Act on audit outcomes and ensure compliance with required standards
Promote clear communication and positive team working
