Policy Advisor, Te Pae Tiriti & Māori Development

Te Puni Kōkiri invites applications for Kaitohutohu | Advisor, Te Pae Tiriti. Based in Wellington, fixed term to 30 July 2027, you will provide high-quality policy advice influencing Māori Development and iwi and Māori relations with the Crown, within a small, high-performing team.

You'll work with colleagues across the Ministry and external partners to shape Ministerial papers, policy thinking, and legislative reform, applying te ao Māori and Te Tiriti insights to complex issues.
